About This Project
Morton Solar & Electric has had the honor of completing a 540 kW solar installation and LED lighting retrofit solar canopy for Orthopaedic Associates in Newburgh, IN. This massive structure has been designed to offset 100% of the facility's energy on a yearly basis, giving them the ability to claim the title of the First Net-Zero Energy Medical Facility in Indiana. Along with the solar canopies, Morton Solar included an electric vehicle charging station, giving Evansville and Newburgh residents with electric vehicles a location to charge using solar energy.

On June 5th, 2020 U.S. Senator Mike Braun and Congressman Larry Bucshon announced the First Net-Zero Energy Medical Facility in Indiana at Orthopaedic Associates' ribbon-cutting event.
